I am excited to announce that AberSU supported by the Aber Fund is able to unveil our very first Inspiring Leaders Camp taking place 15th – 17th February 2019.
This is a FREE Residential course and is open to all Students’ Union Volunteers, including, Academic Reps, Club and Society Committee members, Peer/Department Mentors, Volunteer Officers and Student Volunteers involved in union-led projects such as the A-Team.
Attending the camp will be a great opportunity for students to reflect on their leadership and learning styles. To develop new and existing skills to take with them when they leave. As well as understanding how they can use all of this to have a greater impact on campus.
Crucially, it will be a chance to have fun and meet others by taking part in team building and outdoor activities. It will be particularly beneficial for those with interest in playing more of an active role in the SU, in any of roles above or by standing in our elections.
The camp is a two night residential with meals, transport and accommodation provided free of charge. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and will be able to log their hours for the Aber Award.
Applications will open in late November/early December for those interested in attending.
