What is the DIGS League?
A league set up for students to play football. It is made up of 7 teams (currently). Games take place on sundays with team training and possible friendlies occuring midweek. We also try and run a cup and possibly other events during the year as well as the league games.
Also featuring absolutely class team socials and great nights out!!! DIGS opens up more than just an opportunity to play football, it opens up a wealth of social opportunities to meet lads of all ages and year groups and make friends for life.
How good do I have to be to play?
It honestly doesn't matter whether you're one of the finest footballing minds the world has ever seen, or you still think studs are just something you wear in your ears. Whether you've kicked a ball before or not you're welcome at DIGS. Our teams feature people from all footballing backgrounds and abilities, and even those who don't get to play in league games can still participate in kickabouts, training, friendlies, and teams socials.
Who do I contact to join/ which team do I play for?
It's up to you which team you play for, and we'll go through team introductions below. Contact the captain of a particular team for more information on them specifically, or contact a member of committee for any other enquiries, were happy to answer and help you find a team if you need to.

Aberconda FC-
Aberconda is a team that offers not only a chance to play and train in a close team environment, but also a strong social culture with a wide range of themes and challenges every week. Last year marked our 10th anniversary, and we're looking forward to playing some good football whilst making great memories next season.
Mae Aberconda yn dîm sydd nid yn unig yn cynnig cyfle i chwarae a hyfforddi mewn amgylchedd tîm glòs, ond hefyd ddiwylliant cymdeithasol cryf gydag ystod eang o themâu a heriau bob wythnos. Llynedd nodwyd ein 10fed pen-blwydd, ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at chwarae pêl-droed da wrth wneud atgofion gwych y tymor nesaf.
AUFC Freshers-
Alright lads, Freshers Fc is one of the younger DIGS teams going into our third year playing together. We are a group of lads who focus heavily on making every game as enjoyable as possible whether we win lose or draw. we do training when possible and we have a variety of socials with each social having a different theme. Last year we finished mid table but we played with passion for every minute of every game. Overall, we are a good bunch of lads who support each other and help each other both on and off the pitch. we also enjoy going out for a few pints after games or watching the footie. This team is a family, and we hope to invite you into our family for the good vibes, beers and most importantly some first-class football!!
Shwmae bois, mae tîm Freshers FC yn un ôr tîmau DIGS ieuengaf ac yn mynd mewn I’n trydedd blwyddyn chwarae gydia’n gilydd. Rydym ni yn grwp sy’n rhoi conolbwynt mawr ar neud yn siwr bod pob gêm yn hwyl, dim oes as dan ni’n colli neu yn ennill. Rydym yn ymarfer pryd bynnag sy’n posib ac, oddi wrth y cae, fydd yna amrywiaeth o cyfarfodydd trwy’r blwyddyn gyda themâu gwahanol pob tro. Blwyddyn diwedda gorffennon ni canol bwrdd ond chwaraeodd pawb gyda llawn angerdd pob munud o pob gêm. Yn gyffredinol, rydym ni yn grwp da o fechgyn pwy sy’n cefnogi ein gilydd ar a cae ac oddi wrth y cae. Dan I hyd yn mwynhai cyfarddod am peint neu dau ar ôl chwarae gêm neu wrth gwylio y pêl-droed. Mae’r tîm yma’n teulu, ac rydym yn wrth eim mord I estyn allan ac gwahoddi chi I ein teulu am y veibs da, peints ac yn mwy bwysig, rhywfaint I bêl-droed o’r rhadd blaenaf!!

Ffermwyr gwaetha’r wlad yn chware ffwtbol gwych pob wythnos. Gewch chi ddiawl o hwyl gyda ni sef hefyd y tim cymraeg gorau yn Aber! Ac os dechi'n lwcus gewch chi oren hanner amser gan yr enwog , Rhys 'Y Lard' Wynne. Cofiwch eich ffyn a’ch capiau stabal ????
Wales' worst farmers playing amazing football every week! Out of all the teams's in digs you're sure to have the best socials with the Pornstars, which is also the best welsh team in Aber! And if you're lucky you'll get a half an orange at half time from the famous fat man Rhys Wynne! ????

FC Beaver-
Beaver is a team that consists of a great bunch of lads that love playing football, enjoy drinking and getting involved in class socials. Beaver is a long standing team with a rich history and is proud of its high standard of football, winning the plate last season and winning the league a few years ago. Any and all people are welcome to socials, training and matches, whether you want to play or just watch and cheer some friends on. If you want to have a great uni year by cementing yourself in with a genuinely amazing group of people, then beaver is the team for you!
Mae Beaver yn dîm sy'n cynnwys criw gwych o fechgyn sydd wrth eu bodd yn chwarae pêl-droed, yn mwynhau yfed ac yn cymryd rhan mewn nosweithiau cymdeithasol yn y dosbarth. Mae Beaver yn dîm hirsefydlog gyda hanes cyfoethog ac yn falch o’i safon uchel o bêl-droed, gan ennill y plât y tymor diwethaf ac ennill y gynghrair ychydig flynyddoedd yn ôl. Mae croeso i unrhyw un ymuno â digwyddiadau cymdeithasol, hyfforddiant a gemau, p'un a ydych am chwarae neu wylio a llonni rhai ffrindiau. Pandas FC-
Pandas are one of the oldest standing clubs in the division. A great group of lads who love playing football and going out. Squad rotation is very important to us at Pandas, in that everyone will get a chance to play. Next year we are looking at getting frequent weekly socials aswell as frequent training sessions.
Pandas yn un or timoedd hynaf yn y gynghrair. Rydym yn grwp agos sydd yn hoffi cael hwyl a gweithion'n galed ar y cae. Rydyn ni yn tim sydd yn rhoi pawb cyffle I proffi ei hunan ar y cae, ac yn y lleoliadau rydych chi eisiau chwarae. Blwyddyn yma rydyn ni'n cymrud y clwb lan lefel wrth cael mwy o sesiyanu ar astro prif ysgol. Byddech chi ddim yn gweld Tim fwy agos a hwyl na Pandas.
We Hate Ben FC-
New players or old players should consider joining WHB as we are a team that likes to do everything proper, we like to hold our selfs at a high standard, due to this we won the league last season undefeated and with the most goals scored and least conceded. Although we didn’t win the league cup last year losing in the final, we want to make that right this new season coming! Last season we were not as socially active but this year we are hoping that changes??????
