We are Aberystwyth Amnesty and we are working to create a more equitable Aber for all! Our aim is to protect the rights of all human beings through direct action, including awareness campaigns, canvassing, community engagement, and protests. All our events are free and welcome to all. We are currently focused on promoting Amnesty UK's new campaign, Defend Dissent, which would protect both students' and staff's right to free speech on campus and the greater Aber community. We also believe in urging the university to divest from organizations that support the endangerment of humans and nature. Human rights should be accessible to everyone.
