All Student Vote Meeting

We’re calling an all student vote after we have received a petition from students.

The all student vote question will be...

“Should Undeb Aber work with the University to stop selling Costa Coffee products in the University run “Coffi Cwtch” in the Students’ Union building and instead use a Welsh coffee product supplier?”

An ‘All Student Vote’ is a ballot in which all members of Undeb Aberystwyth are entitled to cast a vote. A motion may only be passed by an All Student Vote if at least 500 Ordinary Members cast a vote in the All Student Vote and a simple majority of the votes cast are in favour of the motion.

This meeting will include a briefing of the All Student Vote Rules, and an opportunity for the "Yes" and "No" Campaigns to organise.
