Croeso! Ni yw’r Gymdeithas Sosialaidd Aberystwyth!
Rydym ni yn gymdeithas wedi creu i’r hynny sydd gyda diddordeb mewn sosialaeth neu yn nodi’ch hun gyda unrhyw label adain-chwith.
Ein gymdeithas ni yn sefyll am gefnogi a gymryd rhan mewn achosion sosialaidd blaengar o fewn y brifysgol a hefyd y gymuned eang o Aberystwyth a Gymru: cefnogi anhawsterau hefyd o pobl eraill o gwmpas y byd. O hyn, mae’n gymdeithas yn adfocad am heddwch a hawliau pobl brodorol ac ymdrech pobl yn wynebu ormes, ac felly yn yn o blaid LHDTQ+, gwrth-ffasgaidd, gwrth-hiliaeth, o blaid annibyniaeth Cymru, o blaid Palestina, o blaid Ciwbaidd ac o blaid Wcráin ymhlith llawer mwy.
Gan glynu at achosion yma, mae ein gymdeithas yn fwriadu cymryd rhan mewn yr gwaith gymunedol trwy codwyr arian, gweithredu’n uniongyrchol, protestiadau i helpu eraill, ddangos cefnogaeth a codi’n llaesau o bryder. Bydd ei’n gymdeithas hefyn yn ddal ddigwyddiadau gymdeithasol i faethu gyfeillgarwch a gysylltiad gyda’n gilydd i gynnal gysylltiad ago.
Mae’r gymdeithas yn safle ddiogel i pawb sydd gyda diddordeb mewn gwleidyddiaeth a ddelfrydau adain-chwith - hefyd y rhai hynny sydd eisiau helpu neu cymryd rhan mewn achos ein gymdeithas. Ni’n gobeithio i gwrdd a chi a gweld chi gyda ni!
Welcome, we are the Aberystwyth Socialist Society!
We are a society made for those who are interested in socialism or identify yourself with any leftist label.
Our society stands for supporting and partaking in socialist progressive caucuses within the university as well as the wider community of Aberystwyth and Wales: supporting struggles too of other people around the globe. From this, our society advocates for peace and the rights of indigenous and struggling people of oppression, and therefore is pro-LGBTQIA+, anti-fascist, anti-racist, pro-Welsh independence, pro-Palestinian, pro-Cuban and pro-Ukrainian among many others.
In sticking with these causes, our society intends to partake with the local community and other societies in community work, fundraisers, direct action, protests to help others, show support and raise our voices of concern. Our society too will hold student socials to foster our friendship and connections with one another to maintain close ties.
This society is fervently a safe space for everyone who is interested in leftist politics and socialist ideals - as well as those simply wanting to help or partake with our society’s causes. We hope to meet you and see you with us!
