A Murder at Freshers: A Rep Soc Original Murder Mystery

Join Rep Soc for Murder at Freshers, our Give It A Go session and an original murder mystery written specially for Rep Soc.

President Deiniol Jones has been murdered, and throughout the evening you'll investigate his fictional murder, meet the suspects, hear their stories and uncover new evidence as the mystery develops. The suspects will question each other before facing further questioning as the investigation closes in — but not everything you hear will necessarily be relevant to the murder, and everyone may have something to hide.

Towards the end of the evening, you'll get the chance to ask the suspects your own questions, discuss your theories and decide who you think is responsible before everyone casts their vote and the truth is revealed.

Everyone is welcome — you don't need to be an Academic Rep or already be a member of Rep Soc, and there's nothing to prepare beforehand. You don't need any experience with murder mysteries, acting or role-playing either. Get involved as much or as little as you'd like, meet some new people and see if you can work out who murdered President Deiniol Jones.
