Aber Theatre Society

WHO WE ARE

We are the Aberystwyth Theatre Society. A new society dedicated to producing theatre of all kinds by the student body of Aberystwyth University. We aim to provide a stimulating environment where lovers of theatre are able to collaborate with one another in producing performances to be seen live onstage by the public. We will hold weekly workshops and rehearsals where students can prepare full scale performances and participate in a variety of other activities to develop their theatrical skills and experiences. 

SOCIALS

We will hold weekly socials with varied themes ranging from shakespearean dress to horror and more. We will also endeavour to provide members with a variety of other events such as movie nights, theatre trips, public fundraisers and more. If you are interested in theatre and want to meet and make friends with like minded people then considering joining our society.

PERFORMANCES

We aim to produce two full scale productions per academic year with the first taking place before Christmas and the second before summer exams. These may take place in differing venues depending on the content of the production. Some may take place with in the arts centre, in one of Aberystwyth's other public spaces or one of the University owned theatres.
