GEM Meet and Greet
Meet and greets are a great chance to meet people who are similar to you. This relaxed event will have snacks and drinks and opportunities to mingle.
There will also be a chance to make a door sign for your room!
GEM stands for Global Ethnic Majority. This describes people who are from ethnic groups that make up the majority of the world's population. This includes people who are:
- Black
- Asian
- South Asian
- East Asian
- Southeast Asian
- Middle Eastern
- Arab
- Indigenous
- Mixed heritage
- Latin American
- From other racialised or minoritised ethnic backgrounds
If you identify as part of a Global Ethnic Majority community, you are welcome at this event.
