Ystafell Gyfarfod 1, Adeilad Undeb y Myfyrwyr

Mae gwydnwch emosiynol yn amddiffyniad sylweddol yn erbyn datblygu problemau iechyd meddwl megis iselder a gorbryder. Gall bywyd y Brifysgol fod yn hynod o heriol ac mae'n hanfodol bod myfyrwyr yn cael eu darparu â'r sgiliau angenrheidiol i amddiffyn eu hiechyd meddwl mewn cyfnod o drallod. Mae'r gweithdy hwn yn ystyried beth yw gwydnwch a pham ei fod yn bwysig; mae hefyd yn rhoi i'r rhai sy’n cymryd rhan y sgiliau angenrheidiol i gryfhau a gwella eu gwydnwch emosiynol.

Dewch draw i’r gweithdy rhyngweithiol tair-awr hwn; byddwch yn gadael â gwell dealltwriaeth o'r effaith y gallai lefel isel o wydnwch ei chael ar eich bywyd yn y brifysgol, eich gyrfa a pherthnasoedd personol, a sut y gallwch chi ddatblygu eich gwydnwch i ymdopi'n well â heriau bywyd.

Mae'r gweithdy hwn yn rhan o gais llwyddiannus gan Undeb y Myfyrwyr i Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol i gyflwyno Hyfforddiant Sgiliau Atal Hunanladdiad a Gwydnwch ar draws y campws.

Cynhyrchir a chyflwynir y gweithdy hwn gan Two Roads CIC sydd â phrofiad helaeth o gyflwyno mewn lleoliadau gan gynnwys addysg uwch, ysgolion, y gymuned leol a'r heddlu.

2-5pm Tuesday 2nd April

Meeting Room 1, Students’ Union Building

Emotional resilience is a major defence against developing mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. University life can be incredibly challenging, and equipping students with the necessary skills to protect their mental health in times of adversity is essential. This workshop explores what resilience is, why it is important and gives all participants the skills to build and improve their emotional resilience.

Come along to this three-hour interactive workshop in which you will leave with a better understanding of the impact that low resilience may be having on your university life, career and personal relationships and how you can build your resilience to better cope with life’s challenges.

98.5% of university students that have attended this training would recommend it to fellow students.

This workshop is part of a successful Students’ Union funding bid to the National Lottery Community Fund to introduce Suicide Prevention and Resilience Skills Training across campus.

This workshop is produced and delivered by Two Roads CIC who have extensive experience of delivery in settings including higher education, schools, local community and the police.
